Our theme for November is “Basic Styles” and the entries for this week’s design challenge were inspired by the theme of “Elegant”.

Laura Harrison Bosch of Multibeadia Designs
Finally after about 6 different variations here is my Elegant Kyanite & Freshwater Pearl Necklace. I love the combo - the blue with the white looks like a fancy night out. I ended it with a bit of blingy magnetic clasp.

Linda Blatchford of LinorStore Jewelry
This stunning Black Swarovki Crystal necklace has a focal Swarovski Crystal that is 30mm, a rhinestone ball and drops from a silvertone chain with a toggle clasp. It dresses up your entire outfit, from a pantsuit you wear to work to a cocktail dress for a special occasion.

Maddy Barkley of Jewelry by Jane 29
This was made using beads out of Delica Rose seed beads in a Peyote Stitch. The natural rhodonite cabochon is attached with a beaded bezel and netted stitch. Then I strung pearls to finish it off.

Donna Jo Wallace of Naturally Nickel Free
Clear Faceted teardrop quartz crystal bead earrings, hung from tarnish-resistant argentium sterling silver chainmaille links. All nickel free materials, each component is cut and formed by hand. 633E

Lucinda K Myer of Lucinda Myer Bracelets
I can't think of anything more elegant for a wedding than an ornate cuff bracelet, dripping with adornments! This lovely work of art started out as an aluminum blank cuff. By adding lots of lace, Swarovski beads, little metal birds and two dragonflys, what started out as sterile, turned into the most beautiful wedding bracelet - tastefully fine and dignified - in style and design. And, I had a ball making it!

Kim Forrer of Kim Forrer Designs
I fused fine silver to make a bracelet chain then added a white freshwater pearl dangle to compliment the dark patina of the metal.

Catherine Shattuck of Victorian Rose Boutique
The inspiration started with the color. I love deep wine, burgundy, or Bordeaux, whichever you prefer. It's just so mellow for fall.

Mary E. Mallia of Jewels for Scheherazade

Tammy Adams of Paisley Lizard
The focals of these "elegant" beaded dangle earrings are frosty white venetian glass bicones. I added drops of light sapphire blue Swarovski pearls and crystals to the tops. On sterling silver leverback ear wires.

Paula Huckabay of Pacific Jewelry Designs
These earrings feature rare vintage Swarovski crystal Diorin rhinestone ovals that remind me of canary yellow diamonds. I complimented the rhinestones with Swarovski crystal bicones and teardrops, rhinestone chain and seed be
ads. (Laura, I wish I had a better photo, I am testing a camera....dropped mine lens down...need I say more?)

Mary Rembach of Omi Silver
Sterling Silver (Argentium) Double Row Chainmaille Bracelet with Swarovski 6mm Black Diamond Bicone Crystals. Sterling Silver Slider Clasp and Sterling and crystal charm.

Vonna Maslanka of Just Vonna
I've had this moonstone and aquamarine for like EVER, a little treat I purchased at a show for myself! This bracelet dainty and petite and not my norm was fun to make. It's a perfect addition to my stacking bracelet collection. Thanks Laura!!

Jo Pound of Jewelry by Jolane
I think the silver and black with a little crystal bling make for some 'elegant' earrings!

Caroline de Rijke of CaroBijoux
This necklace I made of silver wire, silver ball chain and semi precious stones. The curves in the silver wire makes the necklace quite elegant and a little playful.

Kelly Hosford Patterson of Pyxee Styx
"Ferndale" chandelier earrings. Inspired by the Victorian "Painted Ladies" houses in the town of Ferndale, in Northern California, and the white lace and Boston fern filled parlors I imagined them to host. Peridot, Serpentine Jade, Italian glass, button pearls, and Keishi pearls, on gold plated branches.

Debbie Brown of The Brass Hussy
I have had these silver filigree pieces for years and never knew what to use them for. I decided they would make great chandelier earrings and added some simple sparkling beads to them.

Lovely designs. Makes me wish I had some place "fancy" to go wear them.
