Here are the results of the final week in our month of geometric-themed designs. The SRAJD members were challenged to design a piece of jewelry with the geometric theme of “lines”.
Jo Pound of Jewelry by Jolane
The bracelet is made up of lines in the style of peyote
using seed beads. They are intertwined with Swarovski round crystals and ending
with square beads.
Kim Forrer of Kim ForrerDesigns
I used a nail to
score lines in this copper cuff. I think the lines along with the edge pattern,
kind of make it resemble wood.
Nohline L'Ecuyer of Nohline L’Ecuyer
Lampwork glass and sterling silver earrings.
Cindy Devine of Devine Designs Jewelry

A diagonal fold formed line. Copper cuff.
Nathalie Lesage of Nathalie Lesage Jewelry
When I heard that this week's challenge was lines, at first,
I was a bit stomped, but then I had a ha-ha moment... there are lines in
everything, really :) Lines in
the intertwining leather cords, lines in the sterling silver leaf charm, lines
on the Bali Silver Beads/accents... lines formed in the Sterling Silver wire
wrapped ends. These lines dance and come into motion together to form this
leather bracelet. Designed and handcrafted by me, Nathalie Lesage.
Diane Ballum of Hoku Gallery
This is a piece from a collection I will be doing of
wirewrap pieces with lines of seed beads, and or crystals. I like the straight,
organized look, and way of creating! I live in the North East, and I am sick of
the Winter, so I went with ocean colors!!! Summer can not come soon enough!! My
web sites are: www.hokugallery.etsy.com and www. opensky.com/hokugallery
Tammie Everly of TTEDesigns
Polymer clay pendant and earrings set featuring
stripes/lines in summery tropical colors.
Debra Jeffries of Debra’s Divine Designs
I made these cuffs that combine both holes and lines. I used
a chisel to hammer in the lines into this copper cuff and torched it well prior
to tumbling.
Laura Bracken of Bracken Designs Studio Art Jewelry
These tiny mixed metal earrings are made from copper, bronze, and steel, using traditional metal clay techniques.
Ronni Eloff of Vamp Kitty Designs
I decided to step out of my standard
style and do something a little more gallery style - Copper tubes, fancy jasper
tubes, copper wire made into these dangling lines.
Laura Harrison Bosch of MultiBeadiaDesigns
This clean straight linear necklace
design is what I came up with to show off the colors of the beads. I wanted the
beads to be the main attraction!
Wonderful showing, members!
In a few days, I’ll close out March with a blog post showing the
